#2 Mitch Fink
2018-19
As a junior, started all 35 games, playing 31.1 minutes per game. Team Captain. Averaged 15.1 points per game, 7.2 assists per game and 4.2 rebounds per game. His 7.2 assists per game was #1 in the NAIA and held a 2.23 A/TO ratio. Mitch shot 43.7% from the field, 39% from the perimeter and 83.8% from the free-throw line. In the biggest game of the year, (NAIA Quarterfinal vs. Indiana Wesleyan) he scored 34 points, dished out 11 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds, in route to a 107-93 win. He scored 20 points on 14 different occasions throughout the 2018-19 season and dished out 10 or more assists on eight different occasions. Mitch was named CCC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and was selected as a NAIA 1st Team All-American. Will graduate in the spring of 2020 with a degree in Communication Studies.
2017-18
As a sophomore, started all 33 games, playing 31.8 minutes per game. Team Captain. Averaged 19.5 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game and 7.3 assists per game. Mitchell shot 48.1% from the field, including 38% from the perimeter and 79.5% from the foul line. Scored a career high 42 points against rival Southern Oregon in a pivotal CCC match up. In that game, he was 17-26 from the floor while also dishing out 6 assists. He scored 30 or more points on 6 different occasions and 20 or more on 15 occasions. Mitchell was named Cascade Conference Player of the Year and was an NAIA 3rd All-American Selection. Majoring in Communication Studies.
2016-17
As a true freshman, appeared in all 34 games – starting the final 25 games and averaging 26.8 minutes a game. Was named CCC Newcomer of the Year. Averaged 11.2 points per game, 4.7 assists per game and 2.6 rebounds per game. Shot 49% from the field and 47% from the perimeter. In his first start, scored 22 points and dished out 9 assists in a big win vs Northwest University. Also, hit a game tying buzzer beater in regulation and the game winning bucket as time expired in 2OT. Scored a season high 27 points in a home win against Eastern Oregon.
Prior to Oregon Tech
Averaged 14 points per game, 6 assists per game, 4 rebounds per game and 3 steals. During senior season, Clackamas was 23-5 – Mt Hood Conference Champions. Mitch was selected twice as Mt. Hood First Team All-Conference. Parent are Russ and Lori Fink. Will major in Medical Imaging Technology
