Armantrout was named the 2015 and 2016 Skyline Player of the Year and was also a 2nd team all-state selection both years (her sophomore and junior seasons) in her three seasons so far at Henley high school she has hit for a .475 average including 153 hits, 32 doubles, 8 triples, 9 homers, and 107 RBI’s.
Coach Stewart: "I am thrilled to sign a player of McKenna's ability to our team” said Stewart. “She is a top notch student-athlete who has the tools to make an immediate impact in our program as a freshman. McKenna is a complete player who I think is one of the top catching recruits in the state of Oregon. As a catcher, she is an outstanding receiver with a strong and accurate arm. Offensively, McKenna can hit for average and power to go with really good speed on the bases."
McKenna is the daughter of Mike and Andrea Armantrout and plans to be a health sciences major at Oregon Tech.
