Greg Stewart

AT OREGON TECH: Stewart begins his 22nd season as head coach of the softball program and holds a 793-295-2 all-time record - the most wins in program history...also serves as associate athletic director.

HONORS: Earned the 2011 NAIA National Coach of the Year award after leading OIT to the NAIA national title...11-time Cascade Conference Coach of the Year (2005, 2006, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and 2-time NAIA Region I Coach of the Year (2005, 2006)...has coached 21 NAIA All-Americans, 65 All-CCC selections, 65 CCC All-Academic Team selections and 40 NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

POSTSEASON: Qualified for 15 Cascade Conference and five NAIA Region I Tournaments, advancing to 13 NAIA National Tournaments...won the CCC regular-season title 10 times (2006, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) and the CCC Tournament on six occasions (2006, 2011, 2012, 2021, 2022, 2023)...advanced to the NAIA Championships in 2011 and 2012 - winning the 2011 national title with a victory over Cal Baptist...advanced to 11 NAIA Opening Round tournaments - winning Opening Round titles in 2015, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024....made six NAIA Softball World Series appearances (2015, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) - placing fourth in 2015 and 2024, seventh in 2019 and 2022, while finishing as the runner-up in 2021 and 2023.

PRIOR TO OIT: Served as the head baseball coach at Sterling College from 1997-2001, winning the 1999 Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference title...spent the 2002 and 2003 seasons as the head baseball coach at Bluefield College in Virginia...also was an assistant football coach at Sterling.

PERSONAL: A graduate of Sterling College in Kansas, with a degree in accounting...played four seasons of baseball while at Sterling, earning All-KCAC honors as a senior...he and wife Nellie have three children - Aubrey, Lindey and Lanie.
