AT OREGON TECH: Eighth year as OIT's athletic director...during his tenure, the department has won a national title (2018 women's cross country) and had three national runner-up finishes (2019 men's basketball, 2021 softball, 2023 softball)...played a significant role in major upgrades to facilities, including John and Lois Stilwell Stadium, Moehl Stadium, the TechRec Fitness Center, noteworthy upgrades to Danny Miles Court with new graphics, paint, a remodeled concession stand, hand rails in the bleachers, a new sound system and scorers table. He has been involved in the renewing the Hustlin’ Owl Booster Club, as well as starting the Howard Morris Hall of Fame. 

PRIOR TO TECH: Served as men's basketball head coach at Northwest University from 2000-17; and as an assistant athletic director for 16 years...his teams made three NAIA National Tournament appearances and finished with 300 career wins...was named CCC Coach of Character in 2014, CCC Men's Basketball Coach of the Year (2012), and Team Champions of Character (2009).

PERSONAL: Van Dyke has a Master of Sports Science from United States Sports Academy, a Teacher Certification Post-Baccalaureate Studies in Physical Education and Health Endorsement (K-12) from Seattle Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sport & Exercise Science from Western Washington University...he is married to wife Amy, and has two children, Alysanne and Jack.
